iD COLLECTIVE WAS ENGAGED BY LENDLEASE TO ACTIVATE OVER THE COURSE OF SIX WEEKS TO RUN A ‘SUMMER SERIES’ ACTIVATION.
LENDLEASE SUMMER SERIES
The main objective of the Summer Series was to create traffic within Melbourne Quarter and encourage people to frequent the precinct’s retailers through an array of mid week activities, Thursday session drinks, entertainment and food giveaways!
Overall the Summer Series was highly successful in increasing foot traffic within Melbourne Quarter, with all classes held hitting their quota & Thursday sessions lively and busy.
OBJECTIVES
• Bring traffic into Melbourne Quarter with weekly food giveaways & experiences.
• Include retailers in the food giveaways and raise awareness of the retailers to consumers.
•Encourage tenants to participate in giveaways and weekly activities.
•Gain more exposure for retailers within the centre.
OUTCOMES
•All food giveaways were a hit, selling out in record timing.
•Retailers booming with sales after successful promotions.
•Tenants and consumers filling out classes for the mid-week activities, with rave reviews.
•Thursday sessions filling to capacity even in the colder nights, again with rave reviews.
•Overall a highly successful campaign through word of mouth reviews and being the talk within the tenants.
